About Maryam

Maryam Kamali with Buddy (dog)

Overview

Please find my professional biography below. Prior to that, I’d like to share the philosophy that underlies my dedication to dog training and supporting harmonious dog-human relationships. Rooted in our shared love for dogs, my objective is to enhance their wellbeing and happiness through effective training and mutual understanding.

There are instances when our beloved dogs do not behave as expected or our well-intentioned efforts yield undesirable results. These moments of disconnect can sometimes lead to self-doubt or frustration within the household. My mission is to bridge this gap, ensuring that no dog is ‘lost in translation’ and no dog parent feels disheartened.

With a foundation in understanding, clear communication, and the forging of a strong bond and trust, effective training can help us set and achieve realistic expectations. It’s not uncommon for us humans to experience difficulties in communicating with one another, let alone with a different species possessing their own sophisticated intelligence. A harmonious relationship with our dogs begins with learning their language, understanding their perspective of the world, and finding clear, simple ways to communicate. This is where I come in – to guide you towards creating ‘pawfect’ relationships!
